The driving test for cars is changing from the 4th December 2017. The changes are designed to make the test more representative of real world driving.<\/p>\n

Here at Drive Fareham Driving School we already teach all of the skills that you would need to handle the new changes, so whether you’ll be preparing for the current or new style test, we’ll get our pupils ready. It’s just a matter of applying the skills to the situations that are on the new test.<\/p>\n

The 4 main changes to the test are:<\/p>\n
1) The independent driving part of the test will increase to 20 minutes<\/p>\n
2) most candidates will be asked to follow directions from a sat nav<\/p>\n
3) the reversing manoeuvres will be changed<\/p>\n
4) answering a vehicle safety question while you\u2019re driving<\/p>\n
